So if you havent already herd.

I AM PREGNANT!!

We have been wanting to wait a while to tell people but its kinda hard to keep it back especially when you are already showing! We have been trying since July and it has just taken forever i swear everytime i got on facebook or blog someone would just announce that they were pregnant and it was making me super sad! But now i will share my joy with you all! I have been a lot sicker this time and its miserable! I hope I get over that quickly! Maybe that means its a boy! ha ha We would be happy with anything though!

The Festivites of Halloween

I know your shocked right now, scrolling through your list of friends blogs and see that I have updated! What! I know it has been a long time, we have just been so dang busy but. So with that this is probably going to be an over load!

OK to start things off with Halloween I will start from the beginning.
In my parents neighborhood there is this lady who does a Halloween carnival every year and we thought it would be fun to take Taelee to that and it was we had a blast! After that we went to my parents house to roast marshmallows and sit by the fire, well as we were heading to the fire pit Nate was trying to put Taelee on his shoulders and she got so excited that she kicked him in the face! Broke his glasses and gave him a fat lip! Not cool!

We went to the Day Farms pumpkin patch with my little brother and sister and went on the hayride! We all had so much fun, i took some good pictures with my phone but unfortunately i cant figure out how to get them off!

The reason for the pumpkin patch was so we could participate in the second annual Pumpkin carving party that my Aunt Jill does its such a blast we love it! There was a lot more people who showed up this year!




Now if you dont know my grandpa you should, (but he probably wont remember you) he is hysterical! This is him and his pumpkin that he carved

Oh yes it says "got to hell" ha ha HE was so proud of it!! He thought he was so funny!




We also decorated cookies with my inlaws and got some cute pictures of the three little cousins together!

So for those of you who dont know me that well then you probably dont know that i LOVE Halloween and dressing up! I have had our costumes planned for over a year! I made them so it makes them extra special!! I hope you enjoy!

Well hopefully it wont be this long again before i post next i hope everyone had an amazing Halloween!

So I know its been awhile since i have posted...
Last time i posted i talked about a buddy walk with our friends the Gatherums! It was so much fun and a lot of people showed up, there were little games for all the kids to play and they would win prizes like candy and such. Then we did a walk with our buddy and after wards they had lunch for us! It was so fun and after wards we had such a great feeling that we helped out such a great cause! I bought raffle tickets and won free sandwiches to Jimmy Johns and free passes to the South Davis rec. center.
This was almost everyone who was there just for Addison!

Buddy Walk

Nate's old boss's daughter has down syndrome among other things and has had multiple surgeries to help fix them. She is the cuttest little girl, and they are trying to raise money to help her there is a buddy walk this sat in centerville, if anyone can make it and help support the UDSF and make a donation here is the information that she gave me!

We're taking part in the Davis Chapter Buddy Walk & 5K Run to raise money for UTAH DOWN SYNDROME FOUNDATION - This is the ONLY fundraiser for UDSF. You can donate online with a credit card. All donations are secure and sent directly to UDSF by Firstgiving, who will email you a printable record of your donation. We don't know much about it, but we have heard that it is quite the experience! Each participant helps promote the importance of understanding, awareness, and acceptance. It also raises money so that our sweet Addy and other kids with Down syndrome can participate in wonderful activities that are helpful to them and also their families.

You can even just join the Buddy Walk, we are registered as Team Addy (I know, not real origianl), but you can join our team! You can pre register now at www.firstgiving.com/UDSF. The cost is $7.00 per individual, or you can come as a FAMILY! for $5.00 per person with a family of at least 4. It would be sooo fun if anyone could come. With registration, you get a Buddy Walk t-shirt, lunch, and many activities for the kids! There will even be a raffle! But most of all......you'll get a warm and fuzzy felling inside from supporting your amazing buddy!!

The Buddy Walk will be held on Sept 19th at Centerville Community Park (mark your calandar NOW!!) I'm not sure what time, but can let you know more details as I find out!! 9. Tell me one thing I don’t know about you. - I am extremely O.C.D. everything needs to be in order and done a certain way or else i have panic attacks! Nate can't stand it! I hate odd numbers everything has to be even I eat things in even amounts the volume has to be even. But i have a weird exception I like 5's cause evens can go into it I know its weird but i am obsessed with it.

Family Reunions

We had a Christopher family reunion on Sat. it was lots of fun!! I have never seen a family more into BINGO then Nate's family they play it at every family reunion and Christmas time it is so funny and super fun!! They always buy tons of prizes and this time they did practical ones which i love!! And also funny gag gifts like a whoopy cushion! We hit the jack pot in prizes we had Taelee play a card as well as us we ended up winning about 15 prizes like play dough, wipes, tin foil, car fresheners, Tupperware ect ect.. Then we played the candy bar game and won way to much candy we ended up with like 10 combined. We don't need any of it especially cause I want to loose weight! Then Nate kick everyone's but in Guitar hero world tour!!! Thats right he freaking rocks!
Best moment of the night: Nate's Grandma Georgia dancing to Metallica while they played and she was trying to sing along!! SO CLASSIC!! I loved it i could stop laughing!
Unfortunately i have no pictures from that nigh but i did get our CD of family pictures and when i have a few more minutes i will post them!

What a wonderful week!

We both took this week off cause it was our anniversary and because we haven't taken a vacation this summer! So we wanted to do somethings that we wanted to do all summer!
On Monday we were able to celebrate our anniversary by going out to olive garden where we went on our first date together! We got a babysitter and enjoyed ourselves after dinner we went home put Taelee to sleep and snuggled up on the couch and watched a movie!
On Tuesday we got our family pictures taken i have wanted them done for so long but never could afford to do them. So when my little brother called me and said that his Girlfriend's sister wanted her hair cut in exchange for a photo shoot i thought that i had to take the deal! The ones that i have seen are so cute! When we get the CD i will post pictures!
On Wednesday we went to go see if we could qualify for a house and we just have to get our credit scores up 6 points to get the Utah first home buyers grant so we are going to try and do a few things to help it get up in the next few months! Any suggestions welcome!! And if you know of any house let us know!
After the bank we let Taelee take a nap so we could go to the HOGLE ZOO!!! Nate and i haven't been since like 7th grade and we all had so much fun!

Those "rock" looking things are giant turtles!! For some reason i am terrified of turtles i found this out in high school when my brother ben was on his mission in Louisiana he decided to send home a turtle through the mail and we kept him for a very long time! But I could never stand him he always gave me the creeps!
Make fun all you want i know that it is lame!

On Thursday we had a bbq at the park and played some sand volley ball it was tons of fun!!
Yesterday i went with amanda to the mall and we were trying to get on the elevator and the lady in front of us was not paying attention, so the doors started to close and so i quickly hit the button and ended up jamming my middle finger so this whole post i have been typing with my fingers taped together it took forever to do so enjoy and sorry if things are missed spelled and funky!
Now here comes a long work week for the two of us!

730 Days

This is how long i have been married to my best friend in the whole wide world!! Today is our 2 year Anniversary! We have made it through some tough times but that has been made up with all of the wonderful things in our lives as well! I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with him! I LOVE YOU BABE!!!

So I have never had eye glasses or contacts in my life and i had been having a hard time seeing clear lately so i made a doctors appt. and they told me that i needed glasses so they called me yesterday and told me that they were ready and that i could go pick them up!

I always feel so awkward taking serious pictures of my self so dont laugh!

Roundy Rumble

So every year we have a family reunion with the my mom's side the Roundy's and we call it the Roundy Rumble dont ask why just deal with the name! Thats what i have learned to do with my family!
So we went up to Pineview on thursday this was the only day this year that we were able to make it! Its usually a three day thing. And on Friday they did skits which i herd were so funny if i get some video from it i will share!! My Brother Brik and My Cousins husband Jason did the Saturday night skit of Chris Farley and Patrick Swasey as the Chippendale dancers my dad recorded it on his phone and showed me i laughed so hard i was crying!!

So I have debated on whether or not to go private for a while now and i still can't decide what is best. I have been trying to list the pro's and con's, so to my readers i ask you What do you think is best?

I AM ALIVE!!

So I know that it has been forever since i posted last but there are a couple of reasons why I have failed. One being that its summer and we just happen to be so busy during this time of year! Two my camera was dead and i kept forgetting to buy batteries for it. Three is even if my camera was not dead our one of our usb ports got broken but now i know how to fix that problem!!
Where should i start?... Well i guess i should start with where i left off, with my dad!
He is doing pretty good he is making really good progress he is getting around better and standing up much straighter. Now Taelee cant stand like grandpa anymore cause he is looking good!! His walks are getting longer and faster.

I know that i am a little ghetto and proud of it!! But one of my favorite things about summer is demolition derby's! I love the sound of the cars revving up there engines, ha ha i know its lame! So Nate's work sponsor's a car in some of the derby's through out Utah. This year at the Riverton demolition his boss drove in it and kicked some pretty good butt!! It was a blast!





The 24th of July we usually always go to Uncle Rodgers house up in Paradise! It is so beautiful up there and peaceful i just love it! HE has a little pond that you can fish in and ride around in his paddle boat. This year they had a ginormous slip and slide into the pond, it was really fun going up there.




Last week was Amanda's birthday and Steph's was the beginning of this week we get together with all of the girls when a birthday rolls around we went to Red Robin the Classic dinner place since Jr. High!!




OH did i mention that i love my brother ben's girl friend soon to be fiance!! Her name is Jourdan and she is so wonderful for him!! WE LOVE HER!!

And I sure hope that she loves us. Taelee is obsessed with her she calls her aunt Jourdan! SO adorable!

Update on Dad

The surgery was a success!! They finished up at about 7:00 and the surgeon came and talked to us at about 7:30. They were able to put both spacers in his back to give him more cushion room on his spine! They removed alot of the old scar tissue which will help with the pressure in his back and replaced all the old hardware and put the new ones in. My dad also has a couple of other devices in his back they were only able to keep one in and could not work around the other. Dad said that he wouldn't mind if that one was gone anyways so it worked out to be a good thing. They also did find that he had a pinched nerve and they fixed it which is a good sign that he did cause that it self with fix some of his pain! It ended up being a 10 hour surgery he was out for a long time lost a lot of blood and so they had to put him in the ICU over night and is still currently there. They a breathing tube down his throat and hope to remove it this afternoon! We still dont know if he will be out of the ICU tonight or if they are going to keep him in there one more night. My mom asked him if he remembered that we were all there last night and even though he had lots of pain medication in him he did remember. It was so hard to see him like he was, Hannah and I couldn't stop crying! But we know that in the end this will help him so much!

Like Grandpa Hatch

Here is another post just for my dad!

So the other night Taelee started doing this thing and i was so stinking funny we kept laughing at her and so she kept doing it i could not figure out what she was doing and then Nate finally said that he thinks that she was standing like my dad! My dad has so much pain running through his back and legs that to relieve pressure he arches is back and bends his knee's any of you who know my dad has seen him stand like this.
Taelee has been around him alot lately and has apparently picked up on this. We decided to record it and show my dad he was laughing so hard when he saw it!
Now we ask her to stand like grandpa hatch and this is what she does!

Like Mother Like Daughter

This is a post i dedicate to my dad who is currently in surgery!

When I was a little girl one of my most favorite things to do was ware one of my dad's shirts to bed for my pj's they were just so big and comfy. I loved to sit on the ground and pull the shirt over my feet so that my whole body would be completely covered by the shirt it was so comforting and he smell was always on the shirts and that always made me feel safe!
The other night it was bed time and I had my race shirt sitting there that i never wore so we decided that we were going to put her in my shirt for her pj's she was so adorable that i had to take some pictures and post them!!

Lumbar Therasic Spinal Fusion

I am not positive on the spelling of that but pretty sure that's right. My dad is going to be having another back surgery on Thursday @ 7:30 in the am at the Intermountain Medical Center. As most of you know my dad as been through a lot with his back and has always been my hero he goes through so much pain but yet is still so loving and caring and fun to be around he has the best attitude of anyone i know! This will be another major 8 hours surgery! Here is a quick little back ground story when my parents were first married my dad went motorcycling with his brothers when my dad went to get off of his bike he was on a hill and stepped off funny and it tweaked his back he didnt think that anything was wrong so he kept on riding that night when he got up to go to the bathroom as he got out of bed he fell and couldn't move so my mom called his brothers to come over and give him a blessing and then they took him to the hospital there he was told that he broke his back and that he would need surgery. My dad has since then had multiple back surgeries and procedures done. He has never felt good he has always been in pain and they keep trying all of these different things to help him feel better. So this time they will be cleaning out all of his scar tissue and taking out the old hardware (metal plates, screws, ect...) And putting in new ones up to 8 vertebrae instead of 4. In addition to that they will be putting in a plastic piece where the disc in his back separating the vertebra's should be, they will coat the vertebra's with a protein that will help fuse them together as well has help the bone grow.
So i am posting this to ask you to keep him in your prayers and that the recovery will go smoothly. They anticipate a 3 month recovery.
I will keep you updated on how he is doing...

Sunday

Yesterday we had our nephew Pheonix's blessing. After the blessing we went to Lauren and Jeremy's house for a delicious lunch. Then went home and had nap time the best time of day! When nap time was over we went to my parents house and had dinner, this is when my dad gave me an amazing leg rub to make my pain go away!

After dinner at the parents house we went home and decided to light off our fireworks that we didn't get a chance to yet. It started out to be just Nate, Taelee and I but gradually we had an audience from all of the neighbor kids... It was so funny to have them all just sitting there watching us.

Fourth of July

Wow we had an extremely eventful Fourth!!
It started off by me waking up at 6:30 to get ready for the Layton 5k fun run!! I was feeling really good that morning and my leg was not hurting me. (I hurt me leg running the morning before.. I ran three miles on the treadmill at the gym just to make sure i could do it, BIG mistake i pulled a muscle in my leg!) So that morning i was determined to run the race anyway so i did, well sorta i started to run it and was doing not to bad for about half of at first i had to pee really bad so that didnt help and that passed with in the first few minutes so i continued to run when all of a sudden my leg was getting worse and worse so i ended up walking the rest of the way yay for me! I was in so much pain but i was determined to at least finish! Nate and Taelee were suppose to be at the finish line waiting for me but they slept in so it made the finish feel even less of a victory!

After the race i went home picked up Nate and Taelee and we went to the annual neighborhood breakfast! They have face painting and horses and good food!! We wanted Taelee to get her face painted but she was scared to at first so we just said oh well, then Taelee and i went and sat on the horse she was so scared of the horse at first and only stayed on him long enough to get some pictures! By the time I was Taelee's age i had been around horses so much that they didn't bother me so it was kinda weird for me that she didn't like them or at least up close.



After we rode the horse i went home to take a shower and get ready. After i left Taelee got brave enough to get her face painted


After the breakfast we went to the Kaysville parade the best parade! This years parade was so much fun we had all of our family and some of our friends to enjoy the parade with!










My little brother Tucker was in the parade for Bowman's and he rode his unicycle he is AMAZING on this thing i cant believe it.


I love the parade and i love that people give things out this year Taelee got a stuff animal i think its a pig... it looks like a cross of a pig and a bear.. She also got a princess book a flag and tons of taffy she was loving it until so big mean kid came and plowed her down trying to get a Frisbee and she hit her head on the ground and got a goose egg on her head i was so mad!! So my dad picked her up and put her on his shoulders it was so cute i could help but take a couple of pictures of them!



Taco Time gave out neckless' and Frisbee's and we ended up having over 25 neckless's in the end and Taelee was waring all of them..

After the parade we went to Nate's parents house to have our usual bbq~ then we went to bowmans for free Popsicle's then went to nate's friend chance's house to hang out and then we went home and took nap's!! So nice and relaxing.
Then we went to another bbq at nates other friend danny's house. From there we walked to Davis high for the big fireworks show, it was a really good show expect that they had some technical difficulties in the middle of it! And that I was in line for the bathroom for the first 7 minutes of it! Taelee was loving the fireworks and she would clap when she saw ones that she liked! It was so cute




After fireworks we walked to Nate's parents house to light off a couple of big fireworks then walked back up to Danny's house to get our car.
After all of this walking my leg was so sore i couldn't move i had to have some of Nate's friends help me walk my leg was so tight and in so much pain.
We went home and i tried to sleep but everytime i would move i would wake up cause i was in so much pain still.
My dad ended up giving me a massage yesterday that loosed up my leg and i am now able to at least walk...

I hope everyone had as good as a fourth as we did!!
